The Fang, part 5, afterwords.

I entered 4 models in The Fang. My Chaos Space Marine on dead Hive Tyrant diorama in Duel/Diorama, a FW Great Unclean One in Warhammer monster, a knight in the colours of the World Eater Legion in 40k vehicle and monster, and Angron in 40k single miniature.

My diorama got 2nd place in it's category! Angron Is currently at the GW store together with the rest of the entries, so I don't have any pictures of him yet.

I'm happiest with is getting 1st place in Warhammer Monster with the daemon. The Nurgel Daemon also got me 1'st in the Norwegian Final. It will soon be shipped off to Stockholm for the finals together with the rest of the winning entries from all the scandinavian GWs. All of the finalists will be photographed and posted in Warhammer: Visions in a couple of months, so look out for my Great Unclean One!

I'm sorry about the bad picture. I was up until 5 in the morning the night before the competition, painting the daemon, and I never got a chance to take any proper photos of it.
I promise to post better pictures when it comes back from Sweden.

I also got 2nd place with the Knight in it's category. Here are some better pictures of it.

The Fang part 4. Blood for the Blood God!

Finished my first entry. A Chaos Space Marine standing victoriously atop a slaughtered Hive Tyrant. I'm really happy with the result. It's probably one of the best models I ever painted.

The CSM is a kit bash based on GW's Kahrn the betrayer. I also used an arm from the Chaos Marauder kit, the axe from a CSM in Dark Vengeance, a modified SM veteran crest and a FW backpack.

The Tyrant is also a kit bash. It consists of spare Hive Tyrant parts from my Swormlord, and a converted Carnifex torso. The Carnifex torso actually makes it a lot bigger than a regular sized Tyrant, which makes the kill an even bigger victory.

When the model was painted, I felt that the base was a bit to big and empty. So i added some curly twigs as alien trees.

In the start of the project there was supposed to be more dead models, both CSM and Tyranids. Then I got the Idea of a lone knight, slaying a beast high up in the mountains. Exempt the beast is a Hive Tyrant, and the knight is a crazed berzerker, roaring to the skies to get Khornes approval before taking the Tyrants head.

Thanks.

The Fang, part 3

Here are some WIP pictures of my diorama for The Fang.

World Eater Assault Squad

I finally managed to get some good pictures of the first World Eaters I ever painted; an MKIV assault squad. The one to the left, with the two knifes, was the test model for the army. The blue has been changed to a lighter tone on later models, like the first tactical squad and terminators posted earlier.

Terminator Squad

The three first members of my terminator squad are done. I gave them chainaxes to fit in with the rest of my army. The sergeant has two, like the legions primarch.

The last two members of the squad.

 Thanks.

World Eater Tactical Squad

Like I've said earlier, the Horus Heresy World Eaters are my biggest project at the moment. So I thought it was about time to post some pictures of the finished half of my first tactical squad.

The sergeant has a crest and torn cape from green stuff.

The rest of the squad, and the second tactical squad are still WIPs.

Like the other sergeant this one also has a green stuff crest. He also has a Chaos Space Marine chain mail loincloth and lightning-claw.

Thanks for looking.

The Fang, part 2

One of my entries for the Fang is this Forge World Daemon Lord of Nurgle. The model is still a work in progress, but I decided to post a couple of pictures non the less. I'm quite satisfied with the skin tone, still needs a few highlights though. But I've come a long way.

Thanks for looking!

The Swormlord and a Carnifex

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not just working on a World Eater army, I'm also painting a tyranid army in the colours of the Hive Fleet Kraken. This is my two favourite models in the army so far, a Carnifex and the Swormlord.

Thanks.
