Mechanicum Servitors

I really enjoyed painting the Tech-Priest yesterday, so I decided to paint some more models in the same colour-sheme today.
FW's servitor, in Solomon Lok's retinue, has been one of my favourite sculpts for a long time, and I finally got around to paint it. The details, like the cable sticking out of his eye and the exhausts pipe on his back, really captures my image of a servitor in the 40k universe.

I also painted my servo-skull-gun thing, wich turned out to be a a quite nice conversion that fits well with the Tech-Priest.

This little group will be a nice addition to my Mechanicum army. I only need a servitor to represent the Priest's power axe to complete it.

  1. They really go together very well. As on the previous post, love the whites and metallics. The pallid skin of the servitor's head is very nice too.

    1. Thanks! I used a lot of different coloured GW shades, as glazes, on both the skin and robes to achieve this effect. Sepia and camo-green on the robes, and red and purple on the skin. I also used some sepia and green shades on the gold and silver metallics. Easy but effective way to make metal look more interesting!

    Love the undead penis-of-doom servitor.

  3. Fantastic! I love how you trimmed down the Dominus a little to make him look less flamboyant. The little clawed arm you used to replace his axe arm is wonderful, and very fitting for the model as a whole. Giving his conversion beamer to a servator was a good move to still incorporate his weapon choices. Keep up the great work!

    1. Thanks! I still have to make a servitor to represent the power axe, but I'm not yet sure how.
