I also used green-stuff, cables, electrical parts and wrist watch parts and cogs as smaller details. When the shape was in place, I used clay shapers and some sort of skin cream (or vaseline or whatever other greasy moisturiser you can find) to finish of the smoothing of the helmets. I have however tried to paint the hood of a techpriest converted from the corpse cart driver red, and the rest of the robes in the same colour as these guys. Red and white-ihs make the models look very christmasy. Because of this I can't paint the robes in a second colour, so I'm not sure how to get a spot colour in there.
I'll try to work it out, when I have painted the rest of the army, and started working on the display-board.Wilhelmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17953933638018027451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8594482242357987242.post-63316552627048969872015-09-27T16:28:01.520-07:002015-09-27T16:28:01.520-07:00Really great models mate, I prefer these to the st...Really great models mate, I prefer these to the stock GW minis for sure.

One thing is that I think they are a bit drab, they need a spot colour of red or blue I think. The red I think to tie them into the army more, and blue to represent the electricity, maybe with an OSL effect.

I still love them, and will be shamelessly stealing them for my own Ad Mech when I get round to them.Sheephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12437659791698586388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8594482242357987242.post-2616605834609606632015-09-24T14:10:03.976-07:002015-09-24T14:10:03.976-07:00Thanks a lot!
