I have finished my World Eater Contemptor Dreadnoughts. The one in the middle was painted a long time ago, but I Fixed up his base, when painting the other two, to make it more similar to them. I painted the World eater symbols on the new Contemptors red, and I think this look a lot better than gold. So I might get back to the first one, and repaint the symbols.

WIP: Red Butchers
I have some quick pictures of my World Eater Red Butchers from Forge World. These are lovely models, with a lot of small details, which make them fun to paint. Even though they are cool, I don't like their helmets much. So I exchanged some of the helmets with bare heads.

Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters
I painted Angron over a year ago, but when I fixed Kharn's base with pigments, I felt I had to do the same with this model. Here are some new pictures of Angron, with a better looking base.

WIP: Lobster-Claw shoes
I just started building some new models for my Slaanesh warband. There aren't many female GW models to choose from, and I never really liked the Daemonettes. But I got a box of them in my Spikey Bots Mystery Box, that I wrote about a week ago.
I played around with the bits, and came up with a creepy looking female model, that will fit perfectly in with the rest of the warband.
The inspiration i used for giving the Daemonette claws as feet, was some photos of Lobster-Claw looking shoes I stumbled over on Google. Few things look as Slaaneshi as these shoes.
I also made a couple of mutants to go with the warband. I used Space Marine backpack bits for their heads and mouths. They are supposed to look like some kind of sonic weapon, a smaller version of the ones used by Noise Marines.

Kharn the Bloody, 8th Captain of the World Eaters
I painted this model about a year ago, and it has been featured on the blog before. But when I painted my newest squad of World Eaters, I painted the bases in a slightly different way. I used a lot more orange weathering-powders on the rust, and burnt umber on the grey areas, to make them look more interesting. The new bases looked a lot better, so I gave Kharn's base a little upgrade, similar to the other new ones. I think it looks a lot better than before. The bright orange makes the model stand out more.

Spikey Bits' Forge World Mystery Box
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered Spikey Bits' Forge World Mystery Box. The mystery box contains random GW and FW products on over 20% sale, which is great for these products since they almost never go on sale. I really like the idea of getting a box filled with random models, since it probably contains models I wouldn't normally buy. But they could still be great for converting, or starting new projects. The box arrived today, so i would like to show you the unboxing.
Daemonettes: Not my favourite box of models. But there are only a few female GW boxes, so it's nice to have a couple of them. I'll probably use a lot of these bits when I'm working on my Slaanesh warband.
Eldar Vehicle Upgrades: I don't have any Eldar vehicles, but there are probably other uses for them.
Nurgle Claw/Power-fist thing: This was hidden in one of the other FW kits. I already used the one I have on another project, so I actually have a Nurgle Herald missing it's arm. So this bit was a nice little surprise.
Imperial Navy Vulture Gunship: This is a cool looking model. Even though I don't know what to do with it, it was a nice surprise to get in the box. It could work as a part of my renegade militia army, or I could be a great centrepiece in a diorama.

World Eater Tactical Squad
I just finished a tactical squad of World Eaters. Or at least most of a squad, I only had enough FW parts to build nine models. But now that I've got the Betrayal at Calth box, I'll complete the squad and make more.
